tenmazero,

Your deviation, listed below, has been removed from deviantART due to a violation of our policies:

URL: (dead link)
Title: Avalon Fanart No. 5 - NC17
Submitted: 2003-10-04 10:41:47 pm

Your deviation was removed because it violated one of the following policies:

1. deviantART does not tolerate deviations which are based, in majority, off of racial slurs, are anti-semetic or derogatory in nature towards a particular religion or ethnic group, offensive in nature towards an individual or group of individuals, pornographic or are deemed invaluable to deviantART as decided by the deviantART staff on a case by case basis.

Hmm... I'm thinking a combination of "pornographic" and "deemed invaluable to DeviantART." Is it really pornographic when you don't depict genitals? Also, I guess I can show Ceilidh getting eaten out, but I can't show her in a threesome.

I might be pissed about this if I actually gave a shit about DA. As it is, I'm just going to laugh, consider it an honor, and ridicule them for leaving that pic up on the site for the better part of three years before removing it.

Possibly getting back into this...

I'm taking some baby steps back into art and comics at this point... It should be interesting to see what I turn up.

Guh.

I had my comic on hiatus for a while there, mainly due to my being in an art funk. I'm still not completely out of it, but I'm drawing again, so that's something, I guess. It may seem like I am neglecting my DA account, but the truth is that I simply haven't produced anything that wasn't for TG and was good enough to display here.

I'm hoping all of that will change soon, but no guarantees.

Continuing Developments

TG's been running strong for four months now, and although it remains to be seen what the future will bring, I'd like to see the storyline to its finish, and I still have a lot of ideas I need to work into that series. I get a little discouraged at times, but it will definitely find its conclusion one way or another, even if I've become totally disillusioned with webcomics by the end of its run.

I put the "Jaaku No Futago" idea on the back burner, though, and it might leave the entire stove pretty soon. After reading a hentai comic called Super Taboo, I felt like I wanted to do a hentai comic myself for a while, simply because it seemed like something I could do easily. But I can't seem to justify spending the energy on something people would only regard as whack material at this time, not to mention the fact that my art skills might not be sufficient yet for such a task. It might still acheive fruition, but I wouldn't count on it.

Keenspace has been on the fritz big time lately, and consequently I need to look into getting my own domain soon. Since I have no wish to participate in the DA community, once I get that domain, I will most likely remove my art from this site and host my own gallery (I can't do it on Keenspace due to a lack of php support.) The fact that they can use my art without my permission irks me, not to mention the fact that self-righteous jackasses like $jark are in positions of power.

Hmm... Can you sell advertising when you only get 130 unique visitors a day? :-)

Treading Ground Website Now Up

Journal Entry: Mon Oct 13, 2003, 12:24 AM
I finally got off my ass, bit the bullet, and put up the site for my webcomic Treading Ground.

I'm not getting my hopes up over its success, but it will provide something to keep me on track as far as art is concerned. If nothing else it will keep me producing at least two new comics per week. I decided on a Monday and Thursday update schedule... When I get quicker at the whole process, I'll probably make it M-W-F, but if it begins to interfere with any other projects I need to work on (like my upcoming comic, Jaaku No Futago,) it will get cut back to just Mondays.

I'm still going to host my gallery here at DA, and in fact it's linked from the main page of the comic site.
